Comprehensive School Counseling

There are 4 components of a Comprehensive School Counseling Program.
*Guidance Curriculum
Provides curriculum to all students in a systematic way.
Increases student awareness, skill development, and appreciation of skills needed in every day life.
*Individual Planning
Assists students in planning, monitoring, and managing their personal and career development.
Ongoing activities that help students plan, monitor, and manage their educational, personal, and career development.
*Responsive Services
Activities or intervention that meet the immediate needs and concerns of students
*System Support
Counselor manages activities that establish maintain, and enhance the comprehensive program
